I'm Blues, a silly blocky woof from Voxel World, and a hobbyist artist who loves rhythm games and drawing things that are cute, simple, and funny.
I draw original characters and share the stories growing around them. I like to keep my designs simple, so they stay expressive, recognizable, and always fun to draw, especially in my favorite blocky style!

How the blocky style began
My blocky style was partly inspired by a cranky doodle monster I once saw in classic Pencilmation. I liked the idea of simple doodle creatures wearing different outfits and becoming their own little characters.
From there, my doodle style slowly grew into something more personal. These characters already looked a little blocky and silly, so I kept exploring that shape and giving them more personalities, stories, and worlds to live in.
Most of my artwork features blocky characters with cartoon friends from many different worlds. I am less interested in realism than in simple characters that are easy to recognize, fun to draw, and full of imagination.
The style may be a bit simple, and sometimes can be a little limited, but it lets these little blocky guys do almost anything.
Why I made this site
I've always loved the idea of having a website of my own, so one day I bought a domain and decided to build one.
It began as a place to share my artwork and introduce my original characters and their world they live. As it grew, I added Posts for future updates, artwork, and little stories shared at my own pace.
Here, you can explore my work without distractions or the fast pace of public social media. Everything has a home together, and I can keep building this little blocky world without worrying too much about algorithms, likes, or follower counts.
This website is not just a gallery anymore. It has become the main home for my artwork, original characters, and Voxel World, but not just all of these!
My creative routine
Well, I usually draw in the afternoon or around midnight, after I have taken care of real-life things, or do something else I want to do.
Nighttime is especially nice because more of my friends are online, and I don't have to do so much in real-life, so I can draw and chat with them at the same time.

The future of Voxel World
Voxel World is my original universe. It is home to blocky characters who welcome visitors from many different cartoon dimensions.
Everyone brings their own habits, personalities, and cultures, so everyday life often becomes an adventure filled with funny misunderstandings, unexpected friendships, and new stories.
Many of my original characters live there, and this website is where their world continues to grow.
I hope to build out the whole of Voxel World and turn it into a real series called Blocky Tales!
